Very basic Java applet test.

This is the simplest of all the Java tests.  Sometimes it takes a few seconds for Java to load the very first time it is used so give it moment.  If all goes well you should see a light blue box (below) with some text that tells you which version of Java is running on your computer.  If you see the blue box then you are off to a good start, if you don't see it then you may either need to install java or enable it within your browser.  Some good sources of information to get Java up and running are:
